Amazing company. Would definitely recommend. I used this firm when I was moving to South Woodham recently. Always great to deal with real people - felt like dealing with friends rather than a faceless corporation. Jack was always responsive and helpful and my furniture told me they thoroughly enjoyed their stay - warm, dry and safe.

We have had our stuff in storage at Hamstore for a year and a half and have no faults! Jack and Bob are so lovely and very helpful!! The place itself is clean and very tidy. 100% recommend to use these guys!

Jack and Bob at the Ham Store have been absolutely brilliant over the last 10 months we have needed storage with them. Cannot rate them more highly in terms of helpfulness, flexibility and no-nonsense management of the place. We would have no hesitation in recommending storage here, and would certainly use again if needed.

Just finished renting a storage locker after three years. Jack and Bob have a great approach to renting storage. No-nonsense straight forward access to your storage space at a really good price. Really friendly approach and always had time for a chat when visiting the premises. Should I ever need some storage space again in the future, i will definitely be coming back to Hamstore.

Jack (the owner) and his brother Bob were super friendly on the phone and have been nothing but helpful the whole time. A nice clean and secure building, with various size units depending on what you need. If you aren’t sure they will steer you right. Thanks again for all your help!

Never used a storage premises before and was very nervous regarding access, security and price. Found Hamstore on Google search and was the best option for us. From the first contact Jack was very prompt with his responses and very friendly on the phone and via email. Everything was arranged very quickly and Jack gave us a lot of good advice regarding the size required, and asked lots of relevant questions regarding our moving house so we knew how much to store there etc. Everything was set up very quickly to suit our needs and Jack was happy for continued contact throughout our time with them. Very professional and friendly business. The building is well laid out, clean and even has a toilet! Jack even helped me move some of my things as I was on my own. Overall, highly recommended, very reasonably priced for a month’s rental, and they couldn’t be more helpful. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in The Chelmsford/maldon area. First time user of any storage facility I found Hamstore very friendly, gave me great guidance and advice. They showed me the right sized store for that I needed, smaller and cheaper than I originally thought. Loved dealing with people and not a remote help desk through an intercom. Will definitely use again
